Vince Long – Senior Club Coach

Royston Runners is a social friendly Club but that’s not to say we do not have ambitions.

Every year we compete in inter club and national running events such as the:

As coaches and captains we organise these events and get members ‘running fit’ to compete.

Many of our members complete in a variety of half & full marathons, mid- distance and endurance running events across the country, and internationally.

We coach everyone to be at their best. Our ‘Training Programme’ consists of:

1. Written monthly training sheets,
2. Weekly coaching sessions and
3. Monthly professional sports track training at Ridlins Track Stevenage.

New Club members are supported by their Qualified Group Run Leaders and are welcome to join the coaches ‘Training Programme’.

Those who have take break from running or have never tried it before you are welcome to join our “Couch to 5K” programme its free. Contact us for more information.

We also welcome runners from 16yrs upwards and those transitioning from a junior track and/or field club. Contact us for more information.
